WHO WE ARE
Entrepreneurship Providing Innovative Change (EPIC) is a partner of the My Brother's Keeper Initiative. It is a strength based multi-faceted service learning mentor program/class which will serve young men of color population of Ingham County between the ages of 10-18. We are an advocacy and service learning opportunity available to Michigan State University students within the College of Psychology and College of Business.

EPIC, aims through its intentional design and strategic implementation, to prepare young men of color to engage in entrepreneurship, develop positive ecological relationships, enhance economic development, and become invested members of their community. By specifically addressing the business needs of youth, Ingham County community has the potential to see an increase in local business. Getting youth engaged in business and entrepreneurship is beneficial to the community as a whole.

EPIC aims to achieve the goals of providing young men of color the opportunity towards ecological success through entrepreneurship, support innovation, help them envision their future roles in the community, and transform "street smarts into business smarts."Â By providing youth with an avenue to learn more about entrepreneurship, we simultaneously open doorways for them to have economic growth and fiscal prosperity.

EPIC believes teaching youth to think outside the box nurtures unconventional talents and skills will produce opportunities for future persona, familial, communal, social cues, goals and answers. EPIC aims to create opportunity and opportunity ensures social injustice, instills confidence and stimulates the economy. Entrepreneurship education includes the likelihood that it will promote social and emotional well-being. EPIC goals are to provide young men of color the opportunity to pursue the American Dream.

CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT & SYLLABUS CREATION MEETING
September 13, 2017
EPIC Program Director, Sean Hankins, & Lead Facilitator & Marketing Director, Teryn Beard, are meeting to discuss Week #1 curriculum revisions and Week #2 curriculum materials. A discussion of necessary information required to be in the course syllabus will also be discussed.
